Here is a true classic.  Many years ago I borrowed Howard Heinzl’s dog harness and made a copy of it for my own dogs.  The design is simple and very functional.  I have been using it ever since.  Recently I was asked by several friends if I would make more of them so I decided to offer these harnesses once again.

These new harnesses are hand made from the finest quality 7 to 9 ounce dark brown Latigo saddle leather with the best solid brass hardware on the market. The breast plate is lined with soft shearing wool and the entire harness is assembled with solid copper rivets.  These harnesses are light weight yet super strong and very durable.  They are designed for the working dog and are great for field work but of course they are also fantastic for simply walking your dog.

This walking harness is adjustable to fit the smaller dogs up to one around 60 pounds.  For larger dogs, I can make a bigger harness by special order.
